Mike Viale

Mike Viale

Secretary

Mike Viale

Dr. Mike Viale has been on the PPAC board for many years and was involved when PPAC was in financial hardship and in danger of closing.  Through the generosity of several individuals and a change in the management of the facility, it is now financially stable.  Dr. Mike practiced dentistry for many years in Paradise until the Camp Fire destroyed his office in 2018.  He then retired and moved to Idaho to be near family.  Although now longer in the area he feels strongly in Community Theater and having a venue for the community to experience the arts.  He also has a fondness for PPAC and wishes to see it prosper.  Prior to the fire he was active in several community groups in addition to PPAC, primarily Rotary, the local dental society and St. Thomas More School and has performed with the theater groups such as the Pines Players, Theater on the Ridge and HOCK’s out of Oroville.

Steve’s love for Theater and the Arts comes from his Drama and Theater studies in High School and College, and after many years being involved with past Melodramas on the PPAC stage and working as a volunteer back stage at the PPAC he was appointed to the Board. He is currently filling the role of Facilities/Stage Manager as we rebuild our Programs and events post Camp Fire/Pandemic.

“ There’s something special and thrilling about taking an empty dark stage and turning it into a magical special space during a performance”
